My interior design is based in melding day-to-day living’s utilitarian needs with understated, rich texture and bold color. In my leather work, I love using leather as both canvas and clay for exploring the interaction of simple form, color and texture. I was born in Montana, grew up in the South, and have been a Texan for the last 25 years. All give me a love for natural materials and handmade things. My style is rooted in traditional methods, craft and construction and the practiced simplicity of modernism. My goal is to design spaces and objects that have an easy familiarity to the people who use them.
